LIFESPAN OF A FACT

THE STORY: John D’Agata is a talented writer with a transcendent essay about the suicide of a teenage boy—an essay that could save the magazine from collapse. When Jim is assigned to fact check D’Agata’s essay, the two come head to head in a comedic yet gripping battle over facts versus truth.

PRODUCTION NOTES: The play is presented by The Ensemble Company at Penguin Point Productions in the Oviedo Mall, directed by Tyler Adcock and produced by Matthew MacDermid.

PARKING NOTE: When you arrive at the mall, watch for school buses in the parking lot. Park near the school buses and enter the mall under the blue canopy-covered walkway. Penguin Point will be the second store to your right when you enter this way. Be aware that some of the other mall exits are locked after 9pm, so if you’re coming to an evening show at Penguin Point it’s wise to park by this entrance.
